Kansa Wand

The Kansa Wand is a unique and traditional Ayurvedic massage tool that is recognised for its healing benefits.  It helps relieve tension and stress, reduce acidity, detoxify, boost circulation and balance the pH of the skin.  It can be used on the face, neck and body to improve blood and lymphatic flow.

Its metal dome (called Vatki) sits on a hand-carved, lacquered wooden handle.  The dome is made from a combination of healing metals – Copper to help reduce pain and inflammation, Zinc which helps the functioning of the immune system and digestion and Tin for improved digestion and the relief of headaches and insomnia. The subtle electrical conductivity of the metal improves the body’s and has been used for centuries to support general well-being and strength.

When used on the face and neck, the Kansa Wand revitalises, offers a gentle lifting effect, helps smooth out and reduce wrinkles, rejuvenate and refresh the complexion.  It boosts oxygen levels allowing toxin build up to be released.  Regular Kansa massage helps awaken the skin.

Massage the skin using a combination of circular, zig-zag and sweeping movements with different modes of pressure for specific areas.

There are 3 sizes – large for the big muscles of the body, medium can be used generally and small for face and neck. We recommend using the kansa with an OmVeda traditional oil for optimum results
