Mesua ferrea, also known as Nagkesar or Indian Rose Chestnut. The parts of the plant used are root, bark, leaves, seeds, flowers and wood. The fresh flowers are helpful in reducing itchiness caused by skin irritations. It has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and also helps to reduce pigmentation. I love this oil. I actually use it as an oil cleanser low, and then as a facial oil when skin is still damp. It has lightened my acne scars in the first week of use, and it is a well absorbing oil. It smells of the sesame oil, and the herbal mix, which took me a bit of getting used to as I usually use floral essential oil type oils, but I love it now. Thankyou OmVeda, amd very happy!
